Walk Your Talk was designed to make life easy for meeting planners and venues. It’s simple to host, quick to set up, and completely self-contained — no stage, no AV crew, no tech stress. Doug brings all the equipment, handles every detail, and adapts seamlessly to your location. It’s as turnkey as it gets.
Still, we know you might have a few practical questions about logistics, space, or timing — so we’ve gathered the most common ones here to make planning your Walk Your Talk experience even easier.
How many attendees can participate per session?
The ideal group size for Walk Your Talk is up to 20 participants per session. That size allows everyone to fully engage while keeping the experience personal, safe, and well-paced. For larger conferences, Doug can easily run multiple sessions throughout the day, allowing many more attendees to participate without losing the intimacy and energy that make the session special.
What if it rains or weather conditions change?
Every WYT engagement includes a pre-determined indoor or covered route as a weather contingency. Doug always arrives on-site the day before your event to scout both the primary outdoor path and a rain plan route, ensuring a seamless experience no matter the conditions. The headsets work just as well indoors, so the energy and message never miss a beat.
How long is each session?
The standard format is 45 minutes, which includes a brief welcome, the full guided walk experience, and a short closing reflection or “Water Toast.” Participants will walk for about 25 minutes of the session. Sessions can be adjusted slightly (30–60 minutes) depending on your event schedule or venue requirements.
What equipment do you provide?
Doug provides all audio and technical equipment, including:
• Silent-disco headsets (pre-charged and sanitized)
• Wireless transmitter and audio system
• Optional branded signage or hydration elements
You simply provide the meeting location and route access — Doug handles everything else.
How much space do we need?
We recommend a clear walking loop or pathway that allows your group to move comfortably side by side in pairs.
Outdoor resort paths, hotel courtyards, wide sidewalks, and conference-center promenades all work beautifully.
If indoors, we simply use wide hallways, ballrooms, or perimeter routes to maintain flow. The session requires no special staging, AV, or furniture resets. Doug will arrive a day early to map out the path.
Can Walk Your Talk™ work in both resort and downtown settings?
Absolutely. WYT is designed to be location-flexible — it works just as well at a resort, beachfront, or urban hotel.
Doug adapts the route to the venue’s personality: scenic, urban, or architectural. The format has been tested in parks, convention centers, atriums, and even rooftop terraces.
Is this a workout or wellness class?
No. While it includes movement, Walk Your Talk™ is not a fitness or wellness session. It’s a leadership and mindset experience that uses walking as a tool for clarity, focus, and connection. Participants move at a relaxed pace, wearing comfortable attire, and no special fitness level is required. The emphasis is on insight and inspiration — not intensity.
What should participants wear?
First and foremost, Walk Your Talk™ is not a wellness or fitness activation — it’s a leadership and mindset experience in motion. Attendees don’t need workout clothes, athletic wear, or special gear.
Because most conferences are business casual, comfortable walking shoes are the only must-have.
Participants can stay in their normal conference attire; the walk moves at a relaxed, conversational pace and is designed to keep everyone comfortable and camera-ready for breakfast, breakouts, or the next session.
If an event takes place outdoors in warmer climates, Doug simply recommends lighter fabrics or removing jackets — but no “fitness wardrobe” is required or expected.
Can it work for multiple groups in one day?
Yes — this is one of the most powerful features of WYT. Doug can run three to four rolling sessions per day, with 30–60 minutes between each group. This makes it ideal for large conferences that want all attendees to experience it in smaller waves or teams without additional AV or logistical demands.
What does the experience include?
Each WYT session includes:
• Guided storytelling and cinematic music
• Core leadership and mindset takeaways (clarity, connection, commitment)
• A “Water Toast” finale to close with energy and unity
• Optional branded photo moments and hydration gifts for attendees
Everything is turn-key and handled by Doug.
What does the client need to provide?
Your only requirements are:
• A starting point and a safe, walkable route (Doug arrives the day prior to personally scout, map, and adapt the path on-site—no guesswork, no hassle)
• Permission or access approval from the venue if required
• A contact or planner liaison for pre-event coordination
Everything else — gear, prep, music, facilitation, and timing — is managed by Doug.

Every Walk Your Talk experience is customized to your venue, group size, and goals. Doug and his team handle all logistics, gear, and setup—so all you need to do is show up and walk your talk.
